About This Whisky
The GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is a richly sherried Speyside single malt matured using carefully selected sherry casks. The whisky is crafted from spirit initially matured in first-fill American oak before being finished for around 20 months in first-fill Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons. The result is a deeply coloured, indulgent malt showcasing the distillery’s dedication to sourcing high-quality sherry wood.
Bottled at 46% ABV, this expression is presented with natural colour and without chill filtration, allowing the whisky’s full character and texture to shine through.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Cinnamon, orange zest, vanilla toffee and dark chocolate.
Palate: Rich layers of dried fruit sweetness, sherry influence, chocolate and warming spice.
Finish: Long, warming and indulgent with lingering dark chocolate and spice.
About the Distillery
The GlenAllachie Distillery is located in Speyside, Scotland and has become renowned for producing richly flavoured single malt Scotch whiskies under the direction of master distiller Billy Walker. Since becoming independently owned, the distillery has focused on carefully managed maturation and high-quality cask selection to produce bold, characterful malts.
