About This Wine

The philosophy of Yabby Lake is to craft single vineyard wines of great purity and character, reflective of the site and the season in which they are grown. Attention and care in the vineyard are considered most critical to allowing this expression.

The 2025 season saw a welcomed return of warm and extended summer conditions, producing full flavoured wines with impeccable intensity and balance.

Producer Notes

Appearance | A bright crimson.

Aroma | A perfumed and spicy Syrah, medium-bodied in style.

Palate | The palate is concentrated and silky, with finely structured tannins, bright fruit characters, wonderful elegance and depth.

About the Producer

Tom Carson and the long-standing winemaking team of Chris Forge and Luke Lomax craft wines that are truly reflective of this unique site. First winery to win the Jimmy Watson trophy with a pinot noir (2013 RMWA). Vineyard and state-of-the-art winery located in Tuerong, in the northern end of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Crafts single vineyard wines and individual block wine releases in only the highest rated vintages.
