Overview
A refined and unusually complete expression of Gevrey-Chambertin from Benjamin Leroux. In the low-yielding 2024 vintage, Leroux assembled his village parcels together with fruit from the Premier Cru Champeaux and Grand Cru Charmes-Chambertin, creating a wine with the finesse, aromatic detail and fine tannic structure that define his approach to Pinot Noir.
Vineyard & Blend
The 2024 cuvée brings together Leroux’s Gevrey-Chambertin village parcels, with most of the fruit coming from the northern end of the commune below the town and from higher, rocky sites towards Brochon. The blend also incorporates fruit from Premier Cru Champeaux and Grand Cru Charmes-Chambertin. Only Cazetiers was kept separate.
The resulting wine is particularly fine and composed, showing fresh red-fruited character with a structured, powdery tannin profile.

Producer
Born in Beaune, Benjamin Leroux began studying at the Lycée Viticole at the age of 14 before completing his national oenology degree and gaining experience in New Zealand, Oregon and Bordeaux. At 24 he became manager of Domaine Comte Armand in Pommard, where he worked for 15 vintages and introduced organic and later biodynamic viticulture.
Leroux established his own project in 2007, building long-term relationships with growers across the Côte d’Or while developing his own vineyard holdings. His vineyard and cellar work follows no fixed formula: each parcel and vintage is treated individually, with the aim of preserving purity, balance and a clear expression of terroir.
