Overview
The 2017 Yarra Yering Pinot Noir is a precise, small-batch expression produced from four Pinot Noir clones. Hand-picked fruit, gentle extraction and measured French oak maturation deliver a distinctly varietal Yarra Valley wine with elegance and ageing potential.
Winemaking
The fruit was hand-picked, sorted and destemmed into small stainless-steel fermenters, with some stalks returned for additional lift and structure. Gentle plunging was followed by pressing and 10 months of maturation in French oak, including 30% new oak.

They’re certainly more nimble on their feet, and they’re absolutely varietal. I won’t be around to see how this new approach, part old, works, but I’m certain the wine will be superb.”
