The vineyard’s northern aspect, higher elevation and sandy ironstone soils contribute to concentration and finesse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2022 season was slightly cooler than 2021, with favourable winter rains and a cool ripening period through late January to March. Yields were balanced, delivering fruit with intensity, freshness and natural acidity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFruit was hand-picked on 24 March 2022, with 25% whole bunches. Fermentation occurred in open fermenters with approximately 21 days on skins using wild yeast.
