The 2018 growing season was warm and dry with low winter rainfall, producing small, concentrated berries. The best Shiraz blocks were hand-selected and ripened steadily to full maturity. Components were fermented on skins for 14 days, with a portion of pressings returned for structure and ageing potential. The operation began in 1984 as a partnership between Tim and Pam Adams and coopers Bill and Jill Wray, releasing its first vintage in 1986. From 1987 the wines have been produced under the Tim Adams label.
