It was the first generation to bottle wines from estate-grown fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe domaine farms around eight hectares across grand cru sites Blanchot, Les Clos and Valmur, and premier cru parcels including Montée de Tonnerre, Les Vaillons, Butteaux, Chapelot, Montmains and Forêt. Most plots lie on southwest-facing slopes, planted on Kimmeridgian clay and limestone.
